"IC MORNINGS" - DOUBLES SOCIAL EVENTS

The IC mornings’ concept was created by the Israel IC five years ago. These meetings take place several times a year and are attended by top level tennis players, including ex Davis Cup and Federation Cup players and others who have represented Israel in international debuts. Some of the familiar names who attended are Dr. Ian Froman, the honorary president of IC Israel, Gabi Dubitsky, Yair Vertheimer, Ron Steele, Lee Silverman (aged 82, an amazing sportsman), Ditsa Hadar, Bat-Sheva Mandel, Jilian Milliner and many more.

About 30 players of both genders, mostly Masters players, ages 20 to 80, some of them IC members, get together for a morning or evening of doubles. Snacks, coffee and cool drinks are served together with the season’s fruit.

Doubles and mixed doubles matches are played in several houses of round robin, in the best of 9 games. Prizes sponsored by local companies such as Atlas Hotels, Atlantis, Bash Gal sport and Bocacio Restaurant were raffled at the end of the meeting.

The cooperation we receive from the Israel Tennis Association the Masters community, the Israel Tennis Centers and other local clubs assist us in putting together these events.
